Quaility of Life

Mt Juliet is a small city that has been experiencing growth and changes that come from a community evolving into a larger, urban community - all while maintaining that small town feel.  Part of Mt Juliet's charm is the "4 R's".  Retail, Roads, Rivers and Rail all meet here.

  • Retail - Mt Juliet has the largest shopping complex between Nashville and Knoxville, with hundreds of restaurants and shops.
  • Roads - Mt Juliet is easily accessible from several major interstates and  is less than a day's drive to 76% of major U.S. cities thanks to I-40.  Mt Juliet is only a ten minute commute to Nashville International Airport (BNA), with connections all over the United States and non-stop service to Toronto, Canada and London, United Kingdom.
  • Rivers - Mt Juliet is known as "The City Between the Lakes"
  • Rail - Mt Juliet is home to Tennessee's only commuter rail line, "The Music City Star", that provides six stops ending at Riverfront Park (Downtown Nashville).

There are many opportunities for those wanting land to build or the amenities of a residential community.  Mt Juliet has it all, whether you prefer the lifestyle of living on the lake or you're an active adult seeking the amenities of a Del Webb community, you can find what you are looking for in Mt Juliet. Mt. Juliet features housing options from 200k to 1 Million+ dollars.

From 2015-2018 the City of Mt. Juliet added a new resident every 8.5 hours.

Since 2018, Mt. Juliet is now proud to call TriStar Mt. Juliet ER Center & St. Thomas Partners Office as some of its newest medical members to the community. Mt. Juliet is also approximately 15 miles from top ranked hospitals and healthcare including the highly regarded Vanderbilt Medical Center, located in Nashville.  Saint Thomas Medical Center and TriStar Centennial Medical Center are also within 2 miles of Vanderbilt.

For the recreational enthusiast, there are over 100+ miles of trails, sidewalks and bike routes, giving Mt Juliet miles of scenic walking, biking and running options. In 2020, Mt. Juliet will open a new greenway section along the Town Center Trail that will connect to the Music City Star commuter station.
