The Mount Juliet BPAC is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the new Eagle Park, and the official ribbon-cutting of the Bicycle Playground BSA Eagle project led by John Forth with Troop 150. Eagle park is located at the future greenway trail head in Mount Juliet at the intersection of 4th Ave and West Division. (West of the train station) This event will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 3rd. While the public is invited, we are extending a special invitation to the parents of pre-school to elementary aged children to bring your striders, or bicycles to be the first to test ride the new age appropriate course. The mission of the bicycle playground is to provide a safe place off of our public roads for parents to teach small children the rules of the road and safe cycling. Many of our local dignitaries, sponsors, and supporters will be in attendance to greet the public. So come out for some family fun, and we hope to see you there on the 3rd of Dec and in the future.
