In partnership with the Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce, the City of Mt. Juliet is holding a remembrance ceremony for the 1st anniversary of the March 3rd Tornado that hit the Mt. Juliet community taking three precious lives. The ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 5:45 p.m. at the Town Center Clock Tower, located at the intersection of Mt. Juliet Road and Division Street. Prayer, a presentation by the Mt. Juliet Police Honor Guard, comments from Mayor Maness, and a luminary vigil for the lives lost and all those impacted will all occur. During the vigil, the outdoor weather warning sirens will activate for 1 minute at 6:00 p.m. The event is open to the community, and it will also be live-streamed across all the city's social media pages and YouTube.
