Juliet, Tenn. – Mt. Juliet City Manager Kenny Martin is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Foulks as the new Fire Chief for the City of Mt. Juliet.
Chief Foulks brings 30 years of experience to the Fire Department of Mt. Juliet. Foulks had previously been the Chief of Murfreesboro Fire Rescue from 2015-2022. He served as Fire Chief of the Greeneville Fire Department and Assistant Fire Chief for the Knoxville Fire Department before coming to Murfreesboro. He began his career in 1990 as a firefighter in Knoxville. Chief Mark Foulks will be the third Fire Chief in Mt. Juliet's history.

The Interim Fire Chief, Joseph Edwards, will return as the department's second-in-command as Deputy Chief under Chief Foulks.
The Fire Department of Mt. Juliet is made up of 79 personnel that work out of the city’s three fire stations and the administration headquarters. Their services include fire protection, emergency medical services, hazardous materials, and rescue.
