Captain Jason Brockman proudly serves as a Captain with the Mt. Juliet Police Department’s Administrative and Support Services Bureau. With a distinguished 28-year career, Captain Brockman’s journey through the ranks has been marked by dedication, professionalism, and a deep commitment to public service.
Beginning his career in dispatch, Captain Brockman has held nearly every role within the department, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its operations and building lasting relationships with the people who serve alongside him. His steady progression reflects a career built on experience, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Captain Brockman is a lifelong learner and accomplished leader. He is a proud Eagle Scout and graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command. He is also a graduate of the Force Science Institute and has completed the FBI LEEDA Trilogy Leadership Series, along with numerous other certifications and specialized trainings focused on leadership and effective policing.
His career achievements include a long list of commendations, such as the Sgt. Jerry Mundy Award (2006), Investigator of the Year (2011, 2012, and 2015), the Chief’s Award (2024), as well as multiple life-saving and meritorious service awards. These honors reflect the respect he has earned from his colleagues and the trust he holds within the Mt. Juliet community.
Beyond the badge, Captain Brockman remains active in service through his faith and community involvement. He is a dedicated member of St. Stephen Catholic Community, serving on both the security and facilities committees. He also contributes his time to community boards and coaches youth sports, helping to mentor and inspire the next generation.
Above all, Captain Brockman is a devoted husband and father of three. He credits his family’s support as the foundation of his strength and purpose in service.
